It's time for big news! We are having a boy, man child, male person. Most of you already know this but I love to announce it, and I am attempting to keep up on this blog world. I am five months along and growing. The love taps from my little man are a frequent experience now and it makes me wonder if I will be blessed with an active Jarett junior! We do have a name in mind but you will have to ask us personally for that one.
So that is our first big news. Now for some more recent happenings. Jarett and I graduated with our Bachelor's degrees on December 17th. Not only that but our parents from both sides (and even Ronda and Craig Collier) were able to make the voyage to our paradise island home to support us. It was so fun to take our parents to the PCC, Pearl Harbor, and to all of the places that are dear to our hearts.
After graduation, our focus turned to deciding what was worth packing home with us and what we could sell and give away. Amazingly enough, we were able to sell our car for $500 more than we had paid for it. That beater convertible (pretty much an oxymoron) with its puke green color and missing door frames, will be missed greatly.
We all know that moving to another home is a headache, but moving across the ocean is a whole new adventure. Thankfully we had many helping hands (mom and dad Nickle, mom and dad Richardson, Colliers, Jacob and Sarah) and extra luggage bags from the free bin. I believe I witnessed a miracle as we transported all of our luggage (two big bags each body) through the airport check-in during one of the busiest days of the year. It made it even more exciting that some of our free-bin luggage bags were bursting at the seams and losing their wheels. One of the bags was actually a golf bag that we used to carry all of our shoes and random items. The airport employees were not happy with our creativity.
