OUR HOME

This is our home (looking out), secluded between two houses with our very own papaya trees! Our neighbors are so close that we can hear basically any conversation, and I'm sure they can hear us too.

The house that our studio apartment is attached to has a young family of six. They have become like family to us helping us out when we were struggling. They have three little girls that call us antie and uncle. We thought that we were pretty special at first until we found out that that is what all the little kids around here call the adults out of respect. Our neighbor told us that it gets pretty confusing at family reunions. lol. The girls have really attached to Jarett and they listen to hear him sing or whistle so they can say, "I hear you uncle!"
